As a member of our team, it is expected that you fulfill the following responsibilities diligently, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the organization:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top designers, luxury showrooms, and our outside sales force, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate industry-leading product knowledge to provide comprehensive assistance to clients.
- Perform meticulous and accurate data entry, ensuring all information is entered with precision.
- Handle incoming sales calls and emails, providing prompt and knowledgeable responses.
- Coordinate the shipment of samples and sample cards upon request, ensuring timely delivery.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from designers, architects, and installers, addressing their needs effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Track and manage the logistics of shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Provide accurate quotes for pricing, stock availability, and lead times.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper registration of all projects in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Utilize and manage the Contract Folder to maintain organized project documentation.
- Create packing lists and invoices for orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle returns or replacements, following established procedures and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain and update the Project Folder with relevant information and documentation.
- Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities by leveraging product knowledge to offer similar patterns and designs to customers.
- Make outbound calls to customers following sample requests to close sales or suggest alternative products.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, offering assistance and support to colleagues as needed.
The following qualifications are required for the position:
- Location preference for the West Coast or availability to work from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm EST.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, sales support, and/or retail.
- Possess an upbeat, energetic, and can-do attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an outstanding phone manner.
- Excellent time management and follow-up abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, taking initiative to address challenges.
- Proficient computer skills, including data management, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
