No accounting experience or background? No problem! This is an entry level position – we will train you on all the “know-hows” of day-to-day accounting responsibilities. What we are looking for is someone with a great personality, that is outgoing and comfortable in a client-facing environment.
The number one thing we are looking for is someone who learns quickly.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding new clients.
- Generating monthly financial statements.
- Working closely with clients, making real business decisions with clients who own and operate their own small business.
- Training business owners in QuickBooks and basic accounting systems.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge & expertise in:
- QuickBooks Desktop and Online (Certification as a QuickBooks Advisor are a plus)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Keyboard and 10 key skills
- Ability to learn quickly and multitask
- Efficient and can work adequately with minimal supervision
- Ability to grow and expand both in work and responsibility
- Effective team player
