Inventory Coordinator at a glance
The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in all aspects of Primal Kitchen’s inventory management processes- inventory controls- and cycle counts. This role will focus on balancing inventory between the company’s multiple warehouses of finished goods. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for the analysis of inventory cycle counts- allocation of finished goods- batch control- and inventory data audits. The right candidate will be detail oriented- have strong analytical and critical thinking skills- and will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Communicate to the external warehouses for all product holds- releases- and disposals
- Document aging and overstock inventory by batch and location and communicate sales opportunities to the Direct to Consumer (DTC) team
- Coordinate stock transfers for e-commerce and marketing activities
- Analyze current inventory report and assist in product allocation decisions
- Assist the Warehouse Operations team in cycle counts
- Perform inventory adjustments within SAP
- Analyze external warehouse inventory data for accuracy
- Assist in the review- diagnosis- and troubleshooting of all outbound delivery failures within SAP as requested
- Update inventory reports daily
- Update Oxnard sell-through numbers weekly
- Track all open disposal and donation requests
- Assist in special projects as assigned by the Sr. Inventory Control Manager
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in inventory management- warehouse management- or accounting
- Experience in tracking inventory management duties using an ERP system
- Ability to multi-task at a fast and efficient pace
- Experience using MS 365 and Google G-Suite systems
