(NJNG Union) Lead Fleet Technician

New Jersey Natural Gas(NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Lead Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all company vehicles to include but not limited to cars, light duty trucks, medium duty trucks, CNG vehicles, trailers, compressors, generators, Vermeer RTX450, Kubota B26 backhoes, portable light towers, mud hogs, pneumatic tools and hydraulics. Must be self-motivated and be able to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs. Must be able to work with the Fleetio Fleet Management system.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
• ASE Certification A1, A8, T2, F1, T6, L1 & L2 required
• AC certification
• Degree or diploma from an accredited Fleet Technician program or school and/or 2 years of experience as a fleet technician preferred

The successful candidate will spend the first six months training in the Wall location to learn both software and policies and procedures before working permanently in the Rockaway location.
